Colton 106 Laboratory Thanks largely to a grant from the National Science Foundation (Grant number DUE-9952749) and matching funds from Hiram College, the Department of Computer Science converted an old chemistry laboratory into what is now a high-end computer laboratory for majors and minors in the department. Features of the laboratory include a raised floor under which cables are laid, 16 computers (currently running Pentium 4's at 2.80 GHz, 1 Gb RAM, and ATI FireGL V3100 video cards), and a separate room with conference table and projection screen. The first classes were held in this lab during the 2001 Spring 12-week session. The Colton 106 open hours of operation are 8-10 PM, Sunday through Thursday, with additional hours as needed. The lab is closed during terms with no scheduled Computer Science courses. Lab Monitors The Lab is currently closed.     Photos of the Lab
